Dead night to 25. January. It was a long time since we had lost him, we who knew him as a happy, lively and active man with a smittende humor and neat lines. A man who liked to talk to other people, seeking new knowledge and wanted to develop what he had created.
Ole was born on kjærbu in 1931. He managed to get 85 years. He had behind a traditional childhood and youth after contemporary samfunnsforhold, with grunnutdanning and development through workplace where he got a variety of training as yard worker, carpenter, billakkerer and creating. The last he used as the basis for the workshop he built and ran for many years, a garage many of us had the great pleasure of when we were getting our used cars.
Most joy spread ole when he played and sang, alone or with others, in public events and private tilstellinger. There are many of us who have celebrated their jubileer to ole's music and song. He tried to kill yourself in these links with good stories and neat lines. He has also been looking forward as an attendee of fresh air in enebakk where he always had his solosangnummer.
In recent years he spent his time between home, farm, johannes lundeby markup in trysil and the krigshistoriske collection he built in lots. The Collection, which is one of the best and widest collection with memories from krigsårene 1940-45, is the result of many years of work to find, get in and take care of weapons, vehicles, uniforms, medals and documents from the war Days. When the collection is now preserved in the basement in the old fire station in lots, it's because ole j. Kjærbu with Mary's support, formed a foundation to preserve all they had gathered and taken care of in the home and in the offices in other places. They created the foundation, had taken over the premises in the fire station and utvirket a regular support from hobøl municipality. Collection was opened on June 7., 2002. in these rooms we have in recent years has had a lot of fun, much rustbanking and heard many good stories! This collection has been, and is important because it viderefører knowledge about krigsårene and the fog of war to new generations through visit from schoolchildren, clubs and individuals. We who have been working with the collection, hope it will be taken care of and developed as well as a souvenir of ole.
For working with krigsminner was ole forsvarsmedaljen awarded in 2006. This is a decoration hanging very loud for a civilian and he was then too the other civilians norwegian who received the award. In 1993, the ole hobøl parish culture award for his work with the collections.
Ole has also received the king's profit in silver medal in 2010 for his efforts.
Ole also had their public duties. He was including the leader of viltnemda in hobøl for many years, a job that gave a lot of restless nights in one parish as hobøl, with two important gjennomgangsårer. He also took responsibility with maintenance of norddalen saw and on prestegårdslåven.
We who worked with ole, missed him in several years. It's still hard to say goodbye, after all. We would so love to have him back with a good mood, fast lines and samlerinteresse!
So it's been, glows we rest in peace about ole Johannes Kjærbu.
